Monday and Thursday might be the best answer. I hate Mondays. So, let put one there. And you don't want the next day too close, so Thursday. I don't want it on my weekend(Which I'm counting, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). And Tuesday and Wednesday are too close...

Weekends pay more so Fri 6:30pm (rolling into Sat 2:30pm) & Sun 6:30pm (rolling into Mon 2:30pm)

Sleep for 8-10 hours, wake up at 10pm-midnight, do the grocery shopping and chores, get home, eat, go back to bed til work.. I think I'd adjust

10 hour shifts at work include 30 minutes unpaid lunch and 2 paid 15 minute breaks

So A 20 hour day would be an hour lunch and 4 paid 15 minutes breaks..

Yeah, if I had to..

We're not even open 16 hours of the day, so its kind of a moot point.

With a different job, i might consider it, if I got a two full meal breaks and some regular breaks.

Used to do pretty much this, with four jobs. 8-5, then 6-10, then a split shift either 11-3 or 3-7, five days a week, 8-12:30 Sat morning, then 1-4, then usually pick up a split shift Sat night, Sunday 10-2, easy day if I didn''t pick up another shift. Did it for years. Clinic and hospital shifts high pressure, teaching gigs and dance school were fun.

I dont. Most people probably wouldnt. People like having the whole day off. Or sleeping in. And things like that. Also, like you said, its barely working. People feel likenits wasted time. Not to mention, depending on when things happen, you may not be able to do certain things. If you could choose you time everyday, it would probably be a little better. But I would take 20 hours on two days then 6 hours everyday... even having only one day off a week sucks. Not to mention, 13 days in a row every month...

I knew a woman who was working three jobs. She basically power napped when she could. And when she finally got a day off, she crashed hard until she had to go to work again. She had to do it to work her way back from homelessness...

It sucks. Ive had jobs with no days off. Its starts to wear you down after a while. For a week or two, it sucks. But its not bad. But after a while, you just start getting tired of it. Even when you get enough sleep. Ive seen it multiple times. And have been there, too. And I never feel like I have time to do anything. Mind you, its normally more than 6 hours. But I really would hate working everyday. Some days, I just need to rest. Or get everything done. And if feels like you never get time to yourself. But it can also depend on the job and your co-workers...

For several years I'd work all week for maybe 3 months, getting a day here or there if it rained. Yeah I'd be burned out by the end but the thing is I'd rather not have every day feel like burn out so the shorter days helps.

Oh absolutely. If you enjoy your job things are totally different.

When I was 19 I worked graveyard at Carl's Jnr 8 hours a night, and went to a vocational school for 8 hours to be an electronic tech 8 hours a day for 9 months straight. Had my weekends off straight up though (and took advantage of em!).

Now, you might say that is only 16 hours....but I didn't get a car till after I graduated and started working as an electronic tech, so I walked to carl's jnr (about 30 minutes each way) and took a bus/bart/bus to Valleycetos (the school). That was a good hour each way. Net total of 3 more hours.

Add in 1 hour for lunch, and that was 20 hours of each 24 hour period. I lived on 2 hours of sleep most days (even the weekends as we all got together for DnD/Hearts etc on the weekend).

I was 19 though....it wasn't really that hard tbh.

I used to do 6-7 hours, 7 days a week because we only had a few full time people. Busy seasons, you know? Then I'd get some weekends after that. The plus is that I'd be off for like a month or two in the winter so that's where the lost weekends went.
