Summer break! Super excited!

I'm still teaching for two more weeks. Then we're back earlier than ever, on August 21. We're getting ripped off this year.

Damn, that sucks man. What happened? Weather related stuff? School starts for us on September ninth, but our first training day is August 28th.

Nope, our 2018/2019 calendar was approved earlier in the year, and for some ridiculous reason our board office approved a one week vacation for the October 29 to November 2 week. Nobody has any idea why and we can only see negative side effects to it. The number of operational school days remains the same.

Summer is a time for JRPGs for some reason. Last year I'm pretty sure I beat Dragon Quest IV among others, and this year I've finished Shining Force 1, and moving on to Shining Force 2.
Shining Resonance Refrain on current Gen consoles will probably be the Summer JRPG in July. I'm excited.

Dang, that sucks. That's a horrible time to have a break. Totally breaks up momentum.

If anything, a break in May or something would've been nice.

My school district is only having a 1.5 week winter break, but I think we have a longer Thanksgiving break.

I'm not 100 perfect sure what I'll be playing this summer. I'll probably get Mario tennis aces next week though

Cool beans, that's a pretty late summer break. Mine for college started in May, but I have to take some summer classes over June and July, including all of Anatomy 1 in 4 weeks which is super stressful

But I had a good May break, went to Panama City and Atlanta, but got a speeding ticket on the way to Atlanta so that was a bummer

When I was in college though, my summer break started around the same time, but school started a bit later.

I miss summer breaks. Being a responsible adult (or, at least, one not working in education or a field which takes breaks) sucks.
