I don't have a favorite. As long as it isn't something boring like plain chocolate or plain strawberry. I want chunks of chocolate with thick swirls of fudge in my chocolate ice cream. I want chunks of strawberries and strawberry flavored goo. It has to be good ice cream too. I really enjoy ice cream but I almost always pass on bottom tier stuff like Thrifty brand ice cream.

Not even sure any more. I prefer astronaut ice cream to conventional, though. Unfortunately it's annoyingly expensive compared to conventional ice cream.

English doesn't usually get fancy with our ice cream names. We tend to prefer knowing what we are eating without needing to read the package.

Major exceptions would be Ben & Jerry's flavors and Neapolitan (the later of which is pretty obvious from just looking at it).

That sounds pretty dope.

My favorite is made by a company called chocolate shop icecream not sold in stores called exhausted parent its bourbon flavored coffee icecream with dark chocolate bits mixed in.

There's so many.

mint chocolate chip and Tiger were my favorites years ago

I really like birthday cake, peanut butter, strawberry... all ice cream is beautiful

It has to be either high-quality store stuff or homemade. i like making my own ice cream

Oh man, I just love so much ice cream. If it's not a weird savory flavor, I probably like it. Always loved the basic chocolate strawberry vanilla. Adore other fruity ice creams like peach and cherry. Love coffee. Pistachio is yummy. Dulce de leche ice cream is insane. A local place makes a flavor called Monarch Chip which is a dark orange flavor with dark chocolate chips. And I have a huge weakness for Cherry Garcia.

Tangent, but a couple years ago, Edy's made Ice Cream Sandwich-flavored tub ice cream. I saw that walking down the frozen aisle one night and was like WTF.

You could just buy a box of ice cream sandwiches, let them sit out for like 5 minutes, then mash them up in a bowl and get the same result. ^_^

Basically this. I usually prefer a vanilla base with lots of chunks of good stuff. Actually, coffee and mint are fine bases too, they just don't have as many variations available. I don't really care for chocolate or fruit flavors as a base. Chocolate and fruit can go into the chunks, otherwise it's just too much.
