Yeah Igor is in every game and he has a different attendant each time (well in 3, 4, and 5. No attendants in 1 and 2)

Destinyland Ann with a really conspicuous hairbow and Ryuji with with bear ears that don't quite fit the rest of the artstyle is an odd choice. Futaba's bunny ears fit better but are still a little strange. I'm a bit disappointed that Makoto, Haru, and Brent Johnson don't have similar things, but Yusuke not having them makes sense given his personality.

Wait, I'm confused. The Mysterious Figure who's probably Akechi killed Haru's dad's shadow as soon as we left his palace, right? This was on orders from the SIU guy. But Haru's dad took three weeks to suffer the mental shutdown and it happens during the conference to be as dramatic as possible? So they can time when a shutdown occurs to basically the second weeks after having killed the shadow?

Okay, so the police at the beginning of the game said there was a traitor who sold me out. Obviously I'll learn who it is after the casino, so I'll make the list of possible traitors now:
- Morgana
- Makoto
- Akechi
- Haru
- There is no traitor, this is all part of an elaborate plan to give Sae a calling card or something in the police station
I feel confident that the others can't be it.

Morgana is obviously up to something and his confidant is almost maxed out by storyline stuff, but I don't think he'll be both the traitor and a whatever monster in Mementos because it would center too much of the story around him.

Makoto of course is conflicted about changing her sister's heart and acted sketchy at the cafe.

Akechi is an outside possibility, I'd be very surprised if it was him.

Haru acted sketchy when we came to the casino, plus she has the least reason to be with us, plus I couldn't make a confidant with her, plus she has reason to be angry at about her father.

And lastly there's a good chance of a plot twist where there is no traitor.

I am leaning toward either Haru or the "no traitor" options. Not sure which. If I turn out to be completely off the mark, I'll laugh. I'm sure everyone is already laughing at my analysis as it is.

Oh jeez, the costumes are supposed to be what you think a rebel looks like? I thought they were just costumes that showed your personality. Joker is a nondescript thief, Haru is a musketeer, Yusuke is a ronin, Ryuji is a street thug, Makoto is a post apocalyptic raider, and Ann is... Catwoman?

Ann makes sense if you've seen enough of her confidant, she more or less explains that fairly early on there.

Shadow designs:

Kamoshida=Sae>>Kaneshiro>Madarame>Futaba=Okumura

Kaneshiro ranks relatively high simply for when he turns into a bug/parasite, which is very accurate for his character, but his overall ranking is brought down by his default form just being him except purple. The last three have pretty designs that fit the dungeon theme but don't particularly fit the character themselves. Kamoshida's and Sae's are basically perfect.

I like how I can still explore Mementos with Akechi in the group despite him making us promise to stop after Sae. I guess this is still technically before Sae, but I feel like this violates the spirit of what he meant. Not that I'm complaining, I let five requests build up and I still need material to build an eternal lockpick.

As for the Shadow designs, I'll rank them as:
Sae > Kaneshiro > Kamoshida > Futaba > Okumura > Madarame

I think I'd like Futaba's Shadow more in another game, but as it stands in this game, I like the grounded ones more.

Yeah, though strictly speaking the gardening items are better. (Master Coffee recovers 100 SP compared to the garden equivalent being all SP for example)

Yeah, but the curry and its equivalent were both 100 SP to everyone, which was more useful anyway.
