Dude how many years have we brought you enough attendees to be in the Top 4 ?

Melee + Smashs Ult will have the highest numbers, Smash 4 players will all flock to the new title. Its well known at this point from how different Melee is from the modern titles. We dont necessarily NEED 3/5 for 64, imo Top 8 is fine.

Woa woa Mr Wizard. We will accept Smash Ultimate and Melee at evo for 2019. We can just have top 8 best of 5 :)

Smash 5 will likely replace Smash 4. So still only 2. And games in Smash 64 are quick but typically its still 2/3 in tournaments. Also most Melee players don't play Smash 64.

Why would we want 3 smash games. Two is enough for us. Melee and Ultimate since smash 4 community will be the ultimate community plus melee members. Also we'll only banned what's stage hazardous and walk offs.

we don't require 3/5 and the fact you say this shows how out of touch you are with our community. Very sad to see

Hey guys this year @ @GOML_Smash we wont be having melee because smashers ban everything and want to be treated fairly when they bring in some of the highest numbers at our events. But Dont worry Injustice 2 will definitely be there.

Melee's draw is it's engine, and Sm4sh and Ultimate are very similar. Ultimate is a better version of Smash 4, and Melee is its own thing.

Melee always takes overly long and fucks up schedules, which are hard enough at big events. And its not exactly spectator friendly. Its 17 years old now. That's a long time for any game to be competitive on a big stage like EVO.

The players just don't want to move on.
