Would you really be okay with Trump not taking questions about North Korea at all or would you think it was a sign of him hiding something?

yeah, perhaps not giving any interviews at all is impossible, but did he really need to go on fox to give this particular interview? it seems like he's seeking out the media to gush about all the things he likes about kim. that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

If you look at Trump statements in the past he literally only gushes or criticizes. There is no middle ground. He doesn't do nuance. Kim would take equivocation as suspicious, and he'd be right to do so given Trump's record.

At the same time, we should also look at that same record and understand not to take what Trump says literally. At this point it's pretty much a reading comprehension issue.

Honestly this is probably the smarter path, since he can make it seem like he was speaking more off the top of his head and focusing on the positive because he feels the process is going well. If he avoided interviews he'd get hounded for it until he gave in, and then he'd be clearly giving a statement that you'd expect to have a lot more thought put into it.

This, of course, assumes Trump really is the 5D chess master and not just a buffoon rambling about whatever crosses his mind, but that's kind of the point <_<

Correct me if I'm wrong:

1) This is the first time the Trump Foundation has been sued since Donald was elected.

2) This is the first time Donald Junior, Eric, and Ivanka have been sued since Donald Senior was elected.

3) This is the second or third time Donald has been sued since he was elected (Stormy Daniels and this, with Colin Kaepernick recently being on the verge of subpoenaing him).

I REALLY hope this whole North Korea thing goes somewhere...

Raise your hands if you feel more and more like Trump's election victory was inevitable with each passing day.

And on the whole Canada thing, apparently Canada has been the butt of jokes from the American right for a while for being "too liberal"...congrats.

But obviously it's worth destroying Canada because it's Anita Sarkeesian's country! Totally not being sarcastic.

Seriously, I'm astonished people hate the left THIS much, to vote in Trump and stand by him no matter what he does.

Yeah, and Trump and staff have been notably lax on computer security standards. It is literally unbelievable in retrospect that Clinton's emails remained such a huge issue leading up to the election. Personally I always thought it was fishy that people were so hung up on Hillary's e-mails when Trump's scandals go relatively downplayed.

However I think a lot of it is Hillary being a victim of her own overexposure, combined with Trump being a new personality to politics so people haven't had the time to digest his crap.

I'm honestly amazed Trump didn't win more easily than he did.

Trump outright admitted he wasn't a normal politician, or politically correct, or a whole bunch of other things you'd expect a Presidential candidate to be. So if you actually were willing to accept him despite that, scandals that make him look like he's not a competent, experienced politician do jack shit. His supporters know he isn't and doesn't care. Clinton on the other hand, her selling point was basically "I've been in politics forever so you can trust me to be competent at the job". The email thing then makes it seem like she can't even follow the most basic instructions to do her job properly. It goes against the entire image she wanted to sell. So it ended up hurting her far worse than much worse Trump scandals, simply because anyone who would care about Trump's problems was never his target audience to begin with, while Clinton's scandals undermined what some of her supporters saw in her.

Also doesn't help that not getting email security is like the most "out of touch old person" stereotype imaginable, and Clinton was relying on young people to vote for her, and young people tend to refuse to vote for anyone they don't relate to, anyone they think is out of touch or old fashioned...really anyone that doesn't seem like someone they'd want to hang out with.

Yes I read what she had to say about it in her book. She made it seem like people were generally against her using her private e-mail account for government-related info, despite that tons of politicians have done so in the past (and continue to do so, e.g. Mike Pence).

Though I personally think that with the exception of horrible timing on James Comey bringing back the case mere days before the election, the e-mail thing didn't hurt much. People would have just looked for more excuses to paint Hillary as incompetent.

"I feel badly for General Flynn. He's lost his house, he's lost his life. And some people say, 'he lied' and some people say, 'he didn't lie.' Really it turned out maybe he didn't lie," he told reporters.

The most disgusting lie Trump is telling at he moment is his blatantly false claim that he has no choice but to separate families at the border because of the Democrats refusing to change the law

The law has not changed since he became president, and the Obama administration wasnt ripping kids away from their parents and essentially jailing them. Furthermore, Jeff Sessions and John Kelly have explicitly said that they made this policy change in the hopes that such cruelty would act as a deterrent.

He cant even own his own fucking human rights abuses. What a piece of shit.
