We just went in April and the one thing to consider for extra park hours... it wasn't at every park every day. Each day was a different park. And on the day for Magic Kingdom, only half of MK was available early. We didn't research this ahead of time, but got lucky and had our fast passes already booked for the Extra Magic locations.

The shuttle (Magical Express) is awesome. I will say, make sure you are at the shuttle 15 minutes early when you leave the hotel.

I want to say we spent $4k for 5 people, but we did the meal plan differently and stayed at a decent resort, and we rented a car and drove out to the gulf coast for a couple of days. We'll go back in like 4 years once that Millennium Falcon ride is up.

If you have a 3 year old, I would consider waiting until the kid is old enough to have some long term memories of the place and be able to go on rides.

I would also consider snacks and souvenirs in your price.

Yeah, I definitely can't afford to do a trip that is about 4k no matter how much I wish to. Hopefully a family member will go one day and I can have my son go with them. That's almost a new roof on the house.

As Yo said, it's almost a "trip of a lifetime" type of thing. And the kicker is... the kids will probably think that the hotel pool is the best part.

Parents own a timeshare, so this is how i visit Orlando relatively cheaply.

A presentation visit should get you a couple nights in exchange for 2 to 4 hours of your time, but i find it somewhat unfeasible.

I did one for Myrtle Beach. They make you feel like a piece of shit for saying no, but I mean, if feeling like a piece of shit for an hour or so gets my family a vacation... I can live with it.

Also Astro Blaster tip i left out. After the blasters activate to your left a bit in the distance is a circular target against a mostly black backdrop. This should be used to calibrate your brain to your laser. Since few of the blasters fire perfectly straight, this is your opportunity to recognize which laser is yours and how to compensate for your lasers imperfections.

Good tip, ill try that today. Last night the ride was closed by the time we were getting around to it. Hopefully we'll have better luck today.

Also weve been on Guardians of the Galaxy - Breakout five times now and have been fortunate enough to get a different song each of the five times.

Wikipedia says there are 6 songs, so we will ride it once more tonight hoping for the perfecto. The last song we need is hit me with your best shot.

I just got my final sequence on monday... I've ridden it... A lot. (i rode 3 times on Monday)

Also I know it was closed but I have no tips for Midway Mania and everytime I google for tips everything I read just makes my score worse(I'm not sure I've ever even made it to 300k).

I want to get good at it but the line for it is eternally long so unlike Astro Blasters which I took a night said fuck it and rode over and over again, it just isn't possible to ride more than once or twice a day.

I'm not sure successive rides would even be doable as firing those guns is more strenuous than paddling a canoe. Think two rides in a row would make my hand want to fall off.

Actually I do have one tip...The ride begins with a short tutorial. Familiarize yourself with how much pressure you need to pull with to fire a shot. But only fire 2 or 3 shots to feel comfortable. Save all your energy because you will need it.

I have a hunch that the trick to a high score is coordinating with a partner to maximize special scoring sequences, but I lack a similarly skilled partner willing to ride regularly(Everyone I go on with typically sucks pretty bad).
