Well every elder scrolls game has been a scaled down world. Put the new region for 6 as a full scale

I want that. If you dont want to walk, you can rise a horse or hitch a spot in a wagon.

Play the game entirely over encumbered, that will take an hour or so getting from one place to another.
Then do a couple of laps between the location you want to go.

Well, they could do a TES2 thing where you just fast travel everywhere, and time progresses accordingly. I don't really want a game like that, but that's a thing they could do.

TES2 was also randomly generated each time. So fast traveling everywhere was just how you had to set that up.

That is reasonable though, my problem being that I don't want to deal with Bethesda load times every time I want to warp to an entrance to a dungeon, then enter the dungeon (I like the option of being able to just walk over there).

Nah. Prefer realistic maps. Would like to get lost in a city and have to ask an Argonian for directions.

Skyrim and BotW had some of the best world scaling I've seen. Travelling between locations felt like an adventure but there was always something you'd encounter.

unless you could immediately fast travel everywhere, I don't think I'd have fun with that.

just too much time would be spent walking around. I kinda already get bored of just walking around in skyrim

Some people do want that. They're the same sorts of people who whine that being able to fast travel breaks immersion, and rather than simply just not using it, they don't want it in games at all so the rest of us are forced to conform to their perception of what the "correct" way to play games is.

Seems a hell of a lot longer than that. Maybe by horse it's a few minutes.

Or FT to your destination... Either way works. I'd definitely be okay with a slightly larger scale. I think a lot of them are big enough.

I've always wanted to be able to own my own shop and hire a clerk to sell the things I collect on my adventures, rather than getting swindled by some of those store owners that don't like you. Have an economy where townspeople actually work and you can see the cities change slightly over time. Go back to having banks like in DFall, and an online exchange like the GE in RS, so your shop and its wares will show to others online, with fluctuating prices based on supply and demand.
