Well, Chamber of Secrets IS my favourite, tho I can see why would you put the third one above it... I do like the first three titles of the series a lot actually, and it went downhill afterwards.

I came in here ready to shit all over the place but honestly I can't disagree. Prisoner is best, Order is second, and Chamber is obviously the worst. Although I'd probably put Sorcerers Stone as bad as Chamber.

Order of the Phoenix is where I had enough with the books and simply stopped midway. Not saying it's bad, but there was something in the first three that was lost from the 4th onwards and I kinda missed that. Tho I can't quite put my finger on it.

You miss the whimsy of the first three books. The ones after that sorta rely on bad romance and melodrama.

The series changes because it grows up with its characters

This. Actually, Order of the Phoenix was probably my least favorite.

My only complaint of the movie version of the Goblet of Fire is the amount of content that was cut off from the book. I have read the Goblet of Fire novel before seeing the movie (and it was the first HP novel I read).

I dunno, Order of the Phoenix is a great movie but Sirius death was SO fucking stupid and didnt feel anywhere near as impactful in the movie as it shouldve.

Chamber of Secrets is my favorite of the movies. Followed by the Deathly Hallows movies.

My favorite book was probably Order of the Phoenix.

That was my favorite book too

For movies I think I enjoyed Goblet of Fire the most

I am DREADING watching Half Blood Prince in the next few days. I only ever saw that one once, but I remember being so excruciatingly meh about it the first time I saw it, that I never bothered to watch it again

I also remember it having some of the WORST editing Ive ever seen

I think Ive changed my order a bit

1) Prisoner of Azkaban
2) Order of the Phoenix
3) Deathly Hallows 2
4) Deathly Hallows 1
5) Sorcerors Stone
6) Half Blood Prince (as far as I remember)
6) Chamber of Secrets
7) Goblet of Fire

Chamber at least had some stuff going for it. Goblet of Fire was SUCH a hot mess. Its the Two Towers of the Harry Potter movies. Except instead of at least having some of the best parts of the franchise like Towers did, Goblet has... the ressurection near the end? That meme of Harry opening the Mermaid Egg and instead of shrieking we get Iggy Azelea freestyling? Like... shit! Chamber had the scene when Dumbledore cancels the exams for the year and you see Hermione mouthing Oh no! in desperation. That by itself is enough to keep it from being the worst one.

I really need to binge the series over a weekend or something, probably rewatching the first three. (Other than that, I at least saw part of Goblet iirc when just flipping stations in a hotel.)
