I made a batch of fudgy brownies for the cake layer. They turned out really well. This recipe is easy if you use a hand mixer to combine at the end.

Using bread flour got them good and chewy. They're just slightly underbaked to keep them extra soft. And the fun thing about vegan batter is licking the spoon after! Mmm.

All right, it's game time. Coffee is brewing. It looks like I don't have quite enough cashews for that salted caramel recipe

But I do have a bit of soft silken tofu and will have extra coconut cream

I am going to try and blend in the tofu and cream to make up for the shortfall. It should work.

I'm not an asshole that would spike someone's food whether they don't eat something because of an allergy or personal choice. Like damn. That's some of the nastiest shit you can do to a person.

If someone is vegan and you give them dairy they won't be able to digest it anyway. You become lactose intolerant when you stop drinking animal milk. Because you're supposed to stop with milk when you're a baby, and shouldn't ever drink cow's milk

The person in question is not vegan. Did you read that? Meat eaters can still eat plants. Vegans can not eat animal products. Fooling people by adding vegetables to things is way different from spiking a vegan's food with animal products

Seriously. Adding say black beans or applesauce to baked goods is way different from spiking someone's food with something they can't eat due to religious, moral, or allergic reasons.

But there are sick fucks out there that enjoy doing things like that.

Ooh. Ok. I've got a few pounds of fresh strawberries and just remembered how amazing homemade strawberry ice cream is. I might need to do a strawberry and chocolate ice cream cake with fudge sauce to top. That's the best parts of neopolitan anyway

The chocolate base is made but needs a while to cool. I didn't read the make the day before part. So that's the second layer.

Progress so far

I sliced and patched up a brownie bottom layer. Put the strawberry ice cream right on top. The cake will freeze up a bit while the mixing bowl refreezes. Chocolate layer goes on top.

Now I've got some options... In between the layers do I slice up fresh berries and cover them in fudge? Make little brownie chunks? Do nothing? Must way lunch and figure it out

I love them enough to not eat them, or enslave them and slaughter their newborns for things like milk (or pay someone else to do that for me)

The chocolate ice cream has coconut cream in it. The fudge has coconut milk. It's not coconutty though it's nice toasted natural flakes that give a light toasted nutty flavor not that weird strongly flavored dessicated stuff.
