He now says "It was in 2012 and it was a stupid tweet. It was immature of me. I had no idea what i was talking about" He made that post on election night after Obama had secured victory over Mitt Romney as the star pitcher has since deleted that tweet on his twitter Colorado does check potential draft pick's social media history but clearly missed that one but the GM, Jeff Bridich said he wasn't concerned because he said he was a KID and wasn't even legally allowed to drive so his comment was just a "kid thing" and that it happened a long time ago. He said if there was some pattern in his twitterverse or social media with comments like that, he wouldn't have picked him The 6'2, 195 southpaw was a promising athlete from Mississippi as young athletes who try to go pro will have be heavily vetted. It happened also to John Allen, the QB for the Buffalo Bills after he used the N-WORD which has since been deleted on his twitter when he was in high school..
