I'd say that's about it. I don't think the games need any focus on a story. Just Mario and friends going on a new adventure. I'm not really sure what I'd do in regards to the main characters, since I think they're all in a good place. Mario and Peach should definitely be just friends or have an ambiguous romantic status, like they always have. Ideally Peach should be playable more often as well. Less games where she's the damsel in distress, though I don't think she should be totally free from that role either. Just maybe not as often. I think Bowser's fine and should absolutely remain as the primary antagonist. He's had so many appearances that I think they've struck a good balance between him being a humorous oaf and an actually potent villain. Throw in some support characters like Toadette, Gombella, that cloud with the huge tits, ect. The twist would be that halfway through the game you find out Queen Boo was really mind controlled by some sort of Alien or some shit (Like in SSBB).
