I liked the story up to the third one (the second being my favourite). Then everything starts feeling boring from there on for some reason. Red until the begging of the 5th and couldn't go on any longer, I got Eragon by that time and it was way more interesting to me. Watched all the movies tho just to know how it all ends, and wasn't disappointed but could be better.

EclairReturns posted...I used to read it and reread it like some kind of maniac, then I stopped reading and subsequently stopped caring about the book series. Not me. I skimmed the books and thought they were bland, and the movies never appealed to me at all. That's at least partly because I was already of legal drinking age by the time the first book came out, and was more or less out of the target audience. It also doesn't help that I'd been reading much better written fantasy novels for more than two decades by that point, so I was never as impressed as the sort of people don't really read for fun all that much. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
