Favorite variety of tea?

That samurai spice whatever kind at teavana is mine. Fragrant, spicy and the heat from it being fresh just helps to draw out the layers to the flavor.

Best I've ever had was in India, traditional chai.

One night on the Ganges, we were on little canoes watching a show, and there was this 5-6 year old kid climbing from canoe to canoe selling chai to people for 20 rupees (about 30c). It was amazing.

I really need to branch out, there...I've only had two flavors. Milk tea, which I love, and honeydew back in 2009. I hated it. Once I find an actual bubble tea place, I'll try a lot more!

I can't really handle mixed textures (liquid and the slimy or chewy bits at the bottom), it triggers my gag reflex. But I've had a sip of melon before and it wasn't half bad.

It's got a lot of cinnamon and not the cinnamon sugar kind people expect when they think of cinnamon flavor. It's hot, but so good. You can get like 20 oz at teavana made for like $4.

I'm sure you can have some made without the tapioca, right? I wouldn't see why not. Texture is important, I agree, but I love eating the tapioca at the bottom when I'm done with the tea. *___*

Watermelon flavor sounds delish.

Not watermelon. Melon. Err honeydew I guess?

I hate tapioca. But from my understanding of food science and why things are enjoyable to eat, I understand why it's popular.

Also. I hate black licorice candy but Jaegermeister and black licorice tea are prepared so they retain the actual spiciness of it without becoming weird tasting and are quite refreshing if you like spicy tea.
