Chris Paul officially out for game 6

What about 7?

Hamstring strains are 10 days to 6 weeks. Not only is he out for the rest of the series but he's probably got no chance of contributing to a potential Finals series.

Which means if the Rockets steal one without him here, you've got a nightmare scenario on your hands buddy.

Was really hoping this would be a five day injury.....

Kinda need him for the Finals....

I think I'll take Boston tonight

I want this alt future where Houston wins, Chris Paul is out for the series and somehow Lebron wins the title and it's the least satisfying thing ever

I really do think Boston wins though. this series reminds me of that 09 Magic/Cavs series where Lebron was incredible and they just had nothing to back him up.

on the other hand, Houston/GSW reminds me of Lakers/Kings

the score was close because lebron was toying with them. when you don't prove yourself capable of getting stops, cutting it to 7 doesn't count.

similarly houston's 4 point lead in the 4q felt like 20 last night, lol

knowing the dead weight he's got to carry?

I doubt it

He is about to pass Jordan for 40 point games in a playoffs. And is gonna get 6 more games in the final to pad it. And he is gonna get a Chris Paul less Houston which is beatable.

lebron doesn't have loyalty. he chose the cavs so he could play GM. so the competent front office thing isn't really a fair thing to use - he put hinself here by lobbying for TT and smith's extensions and alienating kyrie.

Nah, Miami was on it's way down, what with Bosh almost dying and Wade aging out.

Although I trust Pat Riley's ability as a GM, the post-LeBron Miami teams feel more like a great coaching job than anything well assembled. Especially considering how badly Hassan Whiteside is blowing up in their faces.

But like, everyone gives Toronto shit for what happened but Masai Ujiri is a fucking good GM and giving him a baseline of LeBron he would build some amazing teams.

I am bitter, partially because I don't like a lot about the way LeBron has conducted himself, but partially because I'm sick of the pity party for LJ based on his teammates and/or coach and/or front office - he's had unprecedented power in the decisions of all three. We don't cut Doc Rivers the coach any slack for the decisions of Doc the GM, so I don't see why we should cut James any.

Realistically as a Celtics fan, the expected value of the rings we could've gotten in 2011 and 2012 adds up to less than 1 - 2011 Bulls/Mavs would probably have been favored and 2012 Thunder for sure.

Lebron's an Akron boy, through and through.

If he wants to leave Cleveland, this is the time to do it. His son is about to enter high school, so any later will be tough on him.
