Eh I feel like it actually is bit it's also commentary on white people's misconceptions and stereotypes about black people... And it's also commentary about gun culture and police brutality. The song/video is definitely making some statements. Doesn't really takr much brain power to get the overall message though. It's pretty straightforward. It about violence in America and how we distract ourselves with entertainment. There Are definitely some more specific underlying messages too but yeah. I'm not of the camp that thinks this is some deep, never said before woke song though. Early on he shoots the guy because obviously he was not giving attention to a kitty so he deserved to die. Later you see all those annoying humans using their stupid cell phones to take pictures of kitties without their concent. The time he shoots the choir is obviously because they are all wasting time singing instead of giving their cats the attention they deserve....which is totally unacceptable. At the end, when he is running away in abject horror, it is symbolizing the hoards of humans that will pick up kitties and man-handle them without consent. This is America, land of Kitty Torturers.
