They operate differently outside being magic aoe tanks.

Basch does relevant breaks, while Chow can prevent stop and charm, heal and some more stuff like recover mp.

Chow can make itself tougher without outside help, but Basch is more flexible depending on your needs.

Ace is good, but I don't think he has anything on maxed Chow unless you're incredibly lucky to keep getting his 140 recovery

Exvius have no rate ups to muck up things. All active banners are available at equal rates.

I meant the standard yellow banner for rare summons, not actual weekly banners. It would seem that rare summon tickets are better than exvius tickets for that reason alone.

They are equal in terms of rates for that. The only difference is choice for normal tickets.

Shes also a unit with horrid versatility. Not a lot of use for a unit thats basically just a breaker.

True, but she's the best breaker we have in a while. And we do kinda prefer specialization over role compression at the moment(see: Zargabaath)

Shes not so far ahead of everybody else though, this isnt like an Ayaka vs Tilith situation, and breakers arent used as much as something like a healer. In a few months we have Loren 7* and CG Lid becomes even more useless since Loren can do more than just breaks. She has her niche, but when she only does that one thing there arent a lot of parties that can utilize her since harder content doesnt leave you room for breaks only. Youre going to take lower breaks on a unit that fills another role as well, like WoL, Basch, or Veritas if the Dark.

Shes not even necessary for one turn KOs. You can just take another damage unit, hit repeat, and not have to wait for her breaks.

Pretty much all top end content has some form of break resistance or immunity, and with that Lid has no use, you might as well bring Bedile. At least buffers can still do something there, since theres nothing that makes your party immune to buffs.

With decent prep it is fairly easy. Otherwise it can be a hassle.

(I overestimated Zargabaath for provoking straight off. But hey, along with Eiko, CG Sakura, Chow and CG Fina made it more exciting when some died after all the poking.)

Beat up Ramuh and Shiva 3* now

Went with Emperor as damage dealer.(No attacking every 3rd turn if it crosses the threshold!)

CG Fina as re-raise back up and lb-generator.

Gladiolus with 100% evasion and as much frost resistance as possible

Minfilia for frost resistance.

Ilias for break immunity.

All had at least 30% beforehand, with Gladiolus having a big load.

Hmmm, is it worth trying to get Elfreeda #2, as a 2nd Copy of Marshal Gloves goes a long way to completing TDH sets.

Or to save for say CG Hyou.

(In reality save until Fry appears in a banner more prominently)
