I don't know how extensive it is though, like if you can play through the whole game or not, but it does have co-op.

You just have to play through the single player for a little bit.

Kinda jealous it's a fun game to screw around in.

I'm 90% sure there's no way to co-op through the campaign, just on account there was never any prompt to do so when I played it solo. Sounds like you can do the side-stuff, though.
