I was finishing up my junior year of high school. I went from awkward high school kid to hopeful college kid to hopeful college grad to disappointed full-time worker to awkward unemployed adult

I'd used the site for longer to look up faqs and the like, but didn't join the boards till then

congratulations, man. I remember back in 2014 when we (and a few others) graduated from high school.

I was supposed to graduate this upcoming week, but when I transferred schools now all my credits came with me, and I have to stick around until December.

I think it was 1996 or so when I first posted on here (not this message board but gamefaqs). That was over a year before I met my wife. I went to college since then, got a masters degree, ran a law office, taught elementary school, moved to a different state, lost my wife, and am considering retiring soon.

Yeah I can't imagine the people who started posting on PotD for Gamefaqs in general back around 2000. I know back when I frequently posted here, up until around 2015 when I slowed down, that there were several still, but I am not really familiar with who anyone is anymore besides the people I communicated with a lot back then.

Double majored in Business Data Analytics and Economics with a minor in Film and Media Studies.

Not sure what I will do yet, I've started applying to some local firms and city governments to either work in their analytic departments or geographic information system departments. I'd like to work in GIS, even though I didn't major in geographic information science or geography or urban planning or anything like that, but I think it corresponds nicely with data analytics. I'd prefer not to just be working a generic office job, but I'd be fine with that if thats what it comes down to.

After I get a few years experience I imagine I will probably move away from Phoenix to elsewhere and get a better job in a different location. Perhaps Los Angeles or Austin.

All I know is I don't want to live anywhere cold unless its New York City (where I would love to live besides the cold and high cost of living).

Yeah, St Paul. Our winters typically last like 6 months. It's genuinely miserable.

Data analysis makes sense though. You always seemed like a big stats guy.
