This is the single most disgusting thing they have ever done, such a greedy move

Oh hey we released that game 4 years ago and then lowered the price because it was old! and the Wii U sold badly! so here buy it on $20
But now we release on Switch and it's more popular so we can ask $60 for this

you know what? I don't mind, whetever, this isn't the first time.
But pulling the game AWAY FROM THE ESHOP? this is fucking idiotic. Why a Wii U owner that has no interest in buying a Switch right now needs to be punished by this?
Yeah yeah it's still possible to buy physically, but this is not a solution

Okay. I have it digital but deleted it from my system for a bit so hopefully I can still redownload, but looks like it doesn't matter anyway.

Also codes can still be purchased after a game is removed until they run out, because those are pre-purchased by the retailer. There have been reports of games being available through retailer code years after being removed from their respective shops (looking at you, Scott Pilgrim)
