I am literally the only person I know personally that doesn't have a Netflix subscription. I guess everybody else in the world who doesn't just hangs out on GameFAQs.

I decided to get rid of it after Bright became a thing that existed and Netflix decided they wanted keep charging more so they could keep churning this sort of garbage out.

Most people I know stopped subbing. They just restart for a month when there's a new series they want to watch.

I am not at all surprised. I bet they subscribe to HBO GO as well, and wouldn't know how to hook a laptop up to a TV if they were paid to do so.

Then again there are people who still enjoy sitting in front of the mind control box.

I have built a cheap home theater PC with an ir dongle on it, as well as attached one to my main PC that is hooked up to the TV

I still subscribe to Netflix/Hulu.Even with my setup they provide a function I'm pretty sure just sticking a wire into the TV can't do.

If you disagree, I'd LOVE to hear how any single hookup for one PC to my TV can easily switch between games, downloaded movies and TV shows (including the actual Netflix/Hulu series). I want to use a remote only and not mouse/keyboard anytime ever for any of it. I don't want to constantly have to download/delete all the episodes of a particular series I'm watching either. I need the setup to be easy for wife and kids to also get on the remote and do.

Please, tell me how I can do all this with just a single PC.

Yeah wow...totally agree with Mead. I was pretty sure this started with the idea that people who use Netflix etc are "idiots"

Pretty quick to change it there to being on the defensive.

I'm not currently subscribing and probably won't for awhile. I did jump back to try A series of unfortunate events season 2...but regretted it and didn't even finish watching the second season.

First was pretty good (I felt) but second just didn't do it for me.

Jessica Jones season 2 was good though at least, though not as good as the first (Which I rewatched as well).

Other then that, I'll probably wait for the next season of Stranger Things and catch up on anything I missed at that point (Maybe in October?).

I'd sub for another Daredevil as well probably, but not another defenders, iron fist, or luke cage. Never finished Punisher, and that is pretty much it for me as far as shows I care about on netflix.
