I can't believe it's 2018 and a supposedly first world country still has the death penalty.

I see zero reason why a bullet isn't adequate. If the first one doesn't resolve it, the 2nd or 3rd will. Why show mercy when no mercy was shown for the victims of what they did to earn themselves a death sentence? Other countries literally still stone and burn people alive as a penalty for crimes less than these. A lot of those countries have an insanely reduced crime rate compared to ours.

Why? because they fear committing murder, rape, and other atrocities that earn themselves a reduced quality of life among animals. Treat them as such, make them examples, and others hesitate to commit such crimes.

It should be a civilization where men are free to rape, mutilate, and murder children at will with a sole fear of only being locked away and coached to not be rapist murderers. It's only natural to want to rape and murder children after all, they are fit to live out their lives and fantasies to repeat their actions when they fake being normal long enough to be released.

though I find it funny I met someone who was fine with lethal injection but it was "inhumane" for the needle to not be sterilized. they gonna die and you worried they might get aids 10 seconds before they stop breathing

It is impossible to have a perfect justice system. As a result, the state shouldn't kill when there is a viable alternative. You are allowing emotion to cloud your judgement.

not directed at me, but just to say, I value the life of my 2 dogs more than most any other human on this planet. I can think of maybe 4 people I care about more than my dogs, and only marginally so.

its just my opinion but world is over populated, i'm not going to lose sleep if some criminals get taken from the world.

Or slow and painless. I'd imagine the latter would be truly terrifying for the inmate. Knowing that the last 10 minutes of your existence will end in a room overlooked by strangers, family, and their victim's aquanitences.

capital punishment should be reserved for people like terrorists and enemy combatants caught in combat or planning a bombing or something. we should be executing even people like rapists. life in prison and forced labor is fine though

true but I don't like the idea of putting any dog down unless its proven they are infact a menace. one of my dogs has actually killed another dog, now she lives in a house with another dog and several cats and not once has she acted aggressive to them at all.

I put a higher value on the life of a good dog compared to the life of a rapist, murdering human, yes. Absolutely. Without hesitation.

I know some people can be rehabilitated and all that. but there are some people that just aren't worth it. some people just can't be fixed and those are the ones I feel need to be executed.

then some, their crimes are just so heinous I don't feel they deserve any mercy. I couldn't begin to imagine how horrible i'd feel if I was the doctor who said this guy is cured, had him released and they he did the same shit again.
