Probably, crunchy's free version of the early seasons are still censored and for some reason with the new seasons they're only ever given the censored version even though the one that actually airs in japan is uncensored.

I believe I heard that when a season of DxD is airing, the uncensored version is temporarily exclusive to the channel it airs on, since it's a paid premium channel in Japan and the cable companies want money. But after a certain amount of time (maybe after the season finishes airing, or maybe when the DVD/BD release happens) the steaming services are allowed to swap out the censored version they had before for the uncensored one if they wish.

I may be wrong since I've never seen the show and I'm just going off what I've heard online. But it makes sense if that's the way they do it.

It's uncensored on Hulu? I forget where I watched it, but I remember most of the ones I saw were uncensored, but the later ones were censored. I'd prefer to watch the new season uncensored if there's an easy way to do that.

Yeah, it's 100% uncensored on Hulu. Sometimes I put it on when I'm in bed just to fall asleep to anime boobs.
