My current job, almost 11 years. Don't know how much longer I will be here though, they have been laying off departments left and right. My current one is profitable so I don't think they will do away with us anytime soon, but the office building is a ghost town with all of the empty cubes and offices. I think we are down to 1/3 of the people from when I started here.

The poll ranges are kind of dumb. You differentiate weeks and months, but put six months and 4 years in the same answer? There's a huge difference between those. The first few answers would make sense if you're asking shortest, not longest.

I start running out of room. But I remember people talking about lots of short term jobs... But I only had 10 choices... I was worried about that myself when making it... But that's why I asked for the amounts. Haha...

But if somebody says the max is under a month, it really isn't a big difference if that number was 20 days, 5 days or one day. In any of those cases there are a few particular scenarios I could guess for each the same. If somebody says six months to four years, that doesn't really mean much because I'd think of different scenarios depending on what point they are in that range.

Is it. But I literally ran out of spaces. I want more spaces, but gamefaqs doesn't offer more. Makes sense, though. Some polls would be insane if they gave more room...

I've worked only two jobs in my life thus far. One was when I was in high school at my uncle's gas station. That lasted maybe two years. My current engineering job I got into during my third year of college in 2004 and I've been with it ever since.

You chose some weird cutoffs. Especially because there's a lot of variation within 6 months to 4 years which was bound to be the most common option as a result.

7ish years at a couple of interstate rest areas. There were a few months spread out in there where I wasn't working after getting laid off and again after I quit(but they convinced me to go back). Quit for good several months back.

I worked at three different GS locations over the course of about 8 years. It wasn't bad because my managers and district managers were mostly good. My knees/hips/lower back aren't fans of standing for long periods of time though, so I wound up on medical employment insurance. The next longest has been at the wildlife centre for 2-3 years now...
