It didnt capture me is quickly as three did, but one hour into four and I was already like nah.

Im interested to see where this one goes both story and gameplay wise.

Its a redbox rental, I think I may actually buy it. First game I have bought that wasnt for the switch in like.. a long ass time

Map is flippin' huge.

Spent over 10 hours running around, exploring, doing side missions, fishing, etc and I haven't even fully explored the one section of the map I'm in.

I only missed one that I know of and it sounded like a pretty stupid mission anyway. Its not really spoilers for the story, but I hated that you automatically have to fight the lieutenant for the region as soon as you max out the meter.

Yeah. It's sucks. They should let you go to a place to start the mission without getting rid of the rest. Instead of making you lose all of the other missions and having only that mission in that area...

Also, if youre into getting all the trophies for games (Far Cry games are the only ones I do it for) then try to do some of them, like shooting down the ten airplanes, before you beat the game.

Once you beat an area the enemy basically clears the fuck out and its a pain in the ass to try to find people to kill.

I reset the outposts so Im gonna see if that makes it any easier.

They do that for the second half of the of the northern mission. I wish theyd done that for all of them.

I think only certain ones call for help from planes. I think it's usually helicopters...

This is my main gripe with the game, the RP meter rises too fast. That and when you get to certain parts of the meter, you're forced to do the story mission right then and there and if you're in the middle of something you get pulled from it.

It's the best in the series for me. Still not completed yet but I'm on the last region I visited. Really interesting antagonists and the gamepay has improved a lot. I really like he buddy system too. Although the map is smaller than past games it doesn't feel it.

Yeah it's best to tackle the story missions and side missions first. Nothing more or you could miss things.
