Well I heard Troy Baker left halfway through the anime dub because he went on honeymoon. Now hes definitely way too big for small time Atlus games. Laura Bailey I dunno, but she wasnt Rise in the dancing game for whatever reason.

Not sure if it was during that time, but there was a strike where a lot of VAs didn't do much if any new voice work for awhile, which Laura Bailey was a part of.

So Lucina ended up getting a new voice in both FE Heroes and Warriors.

Definitely possible. Its a shame all the replacements were bad (aside from Mercer). Teddies is fine I guess, but its not as good as the original.

I'm almost done violet evergarden and I definitely recommend giving it another shot

It's episodic/short arcs so it always feels kinda slow paced but I really enjoy violet's development

The most common opinion I'm seeing is that the side story stuff is wonderful and the main plot is dreadful.

Lots of people calling the show sexist, too. Will have to see if they're crying wolf.

Build Divers ep 2 cleared.

I like how the MC is an actual fan of Gundam, Try Fighters went the other direction.

It's also always fun to spot the references.

I just finished Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue (which I watched because I'd realized I hadn't seen anything from Winter 2016 and this was the best looking anime from that season on Crunchyroll). This was also the first time I watched a VN adaptation rather than skipping it to eventually read the VN first, but this one didn't have an English release so oh well.

I thought it was fine for the most part but that flying sport didn't have enough rules to feel special. It was also kind of lame watching them come up with fairly basic tactics and have everyone act all amazed, like no one had ever thought to do that before. The characters were all really generic too.

Every single time somebody mentions Erased I cant help thinking of that awful final arc souring the show :(

Hell, Ajin and Grimgar were there too. Not a super great season, but some pretty solid stuff in there...

Konosuba has two seasons and I only felt like watching one right now. I'd never heard of any of these other ones so they lost out to a flying sport that could've been really cool! I'll look into these other shows now though.

Galko is a short, you can knock the whole series out in less than an hour and a half.

SAO and Log Horizon good times.

Gate is awesome IMO though I know it isn't too popular here (Voltch likes it I think?).

Twelve Kingdoms is fun for a classic one.

Spirited Away is considered a work of art by many.

And of course Tanya the Evil has the greatest of protagonists.

Twelve Kingdoms is a godlike classic.

Almost feels insulting to call it Isekai in today's climate, but it certainly fits the bill.

Unfortunately it commits the unforgiveable sin of being cancelled and just ending.
