29. One of my wisdom teeth is impacted in a way that the regular dentist couldn't get it out. One day I'll suddenly be in a lot of pain and I'll need a dental surgeon to remove it, but until then it's just sitting in there sideways. I've been told when that happens the molar next to it might have to go too, but maybe it'll be okay.

I voted 32 but then actually went and counted and I have 28. I never had my wisdom teeth removed so I guess they just never came through?

4 regular teeth pulled, 3 wisdom teeth pulled, 1 wisdom tooth that hasn't come in yet, so either 24 or 25 depending on how you want to count that. Also had 2 baby teeth pulled...

Yes, it's becoming more common for people to not even have the wisdom teeth grow in at all. Though that's still in the minority of people.

They don't exist at all. Part of our evolutionary development. Human mouths are getting smaller and in some people they just don't develop. It's anticipated that at some point in the future, no humans will develop wisdom teeth.

I thought about this afterwards. Some people have extra teeth grow in weird places. It's interesting that you got a second set of wisdom teeth grow in. Must've been pretty crowded for a while there!

All 28 regulars. Had my bottom wisdoms removed when I was 18 but the top ones never came in, so I guess they're still in there somewhere?

I was going to put a caveat for someone who maybe lost a different tooth but still have their wisdoms, but decided against it.
