Does that still happen as much? Do people still buy way too many games on steam just because they're on sale and have a huge pile of steam games they're going to be trying to get to for a long time?And a bunch they'll never play because they bought humble bundles and such?

I remember that was a big problem back when I was younger. And then, for like a little over decade, I hadn't really bothered with it. And while I see games for super cheap and in bundles, I feel I can't buy it if I won't play it...

It's changing as everyone slowly buys all the games and only has the new games that have been released since the last sale to choose from. Add to that the fact that the same people probably have hundreds of games they already bought, and have not played, and yeah, less and less people will be buying too many games during the steam sales.

Most of my library is from bundles that I saw one or two games I was interested in, and got the entire bundle as a result. I would say that is probably 500 - 600 of the 700+ games I have in my digital library.

On steam sales, I only buy games that I know I'll play eventually. But I do get games I don't want cause I use HumbleBundle.

I try to give away games I already own.

I pretty picky about where I put my money, so that hasn't been an issue for me (yet). That said, Steam's recently been putting a lot of my Wishlist games on sale, and I've gotta strike the iron while it's hot! I've played almost all of my currently 55 games.

I think that's a good number of games. And reasonable. I play all of mine. Even if it's not for a super long time. At least the ones I get from people. And the ones I spend money on. I'm slowly making my way through the free ones, too.

Somehow you don't understand that there will always be trash games. There always has been, there always will be. But it's a good thing most of what you probably consider trash games aren't actually trash games.

I've gotten better of the years. Since 2008ish I mighta been buying 7-20 games a year when they're on sale for dirt cheap. For the past two to three years though I've reduced that to maybe one game a year.

i don't know what's a good website to sell my codes. I have extra copies of games since already own the three games on humble bundle monthly. It seems like a wasted code just sitting there.

I just give them away here and on SteamGifts, sometimes to friends as well. Sorry I can't help.

Listia for selling. Steamgifts for giving away. Listia is how I stacked my account since its easy to get free credits on there.

I don't sell anything so I wouldn't know. Probably through Paypal. They did something dumb recently and changed everything to their own version of cryptocurrency. Most of those games when converted sell for way less than on Steam anyway. That's more because those sellers mostly get them from cheap bundles or Humble Bundles.
