The weight ratio for a rat on pigeon wouldn't work, but a squirrel might be able to right a raven for a short distance. Ravens have amazing carriage for their body mass.

I wonder if it really could happen, if 2 animals like that could befriend each other and give lifts for fun, or if it's simply impossible.

What about a flying squirrel?
It only glides, true, but if it was in glide mode, and on a raven, that would reduce the weight drastically and help the raven fly....so it would probably work. The question then becomes, do ravens ever fly to areas where there are flying squirrels? If so, then yes, a squirrel has probably flown on a raven if only for a short period of time. --- "did you steal my f***in signature" Helly ... Copied to Clipboard!
