On a lighthearted note amidst all the political bashing going on in the PotD boards, what are your thoughts about whenever birds nest by your house? :)
Been seeing the local birds engaging in their turf/mating wars and collecting nesting materials of late --- "It's not enough that I should succeed - others should fail" -Kevin Chang ... Copied to Clipboard!

Depends on the type. Overall though, I don't mind it. Just the really noisy ones bother me.

I typically leave them alone unless they are in a bad spot like inside the roof lattice or siding.

Mockingbirds are the noisiest I've had nearby, but I don't mind their noises, having learned to appreciate them for chasing off all sorts of annoying pests like squirrels and a neighbor's chihuahua that wouldn't stop shitting in my front lawn --- "It's not enough that I should succeed - others should fail" -Kevin Chang ... I like birds, there's a row of junipers outside that's full of little sparrows

I'd advise them against it, as there are tons of bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, and crows nearby on a consistent basis. It was funny, one day there was a single crow attacking three bald eagles while dozens of other crows just watched. I assume he's their Chuck Norris or something.

Mockingbirds can fuck right off. They nested in my front trees for a couple years straight and woke me up too many times screaming bloody murder at my cat. I wish he'd eaten the entire lot.
