Sure

But now you're getting even deeper - you're saying that if someone directly kills 380 of your people and you kidnap and murder their kids, then they are not only justified in their directly slaughter of your people, but they should be lauded as heroes for it.

I think this is a really important point because I see it way too much among the "trigger-happy" style of "libertarian". They are looking for any excuse to unleash their violence and fury, as if that's what the NAP is about. The NAP is about minimal force. Responding to aggression with the minimum amount of force, or even no force at all, in order to reduce the universal total amount of aggression. To use one instance of aggression as justification for 10x more aggression is absolutely anti-NAP and it's absolutely villainous. This mindset should be completely rejected by libertarians.

Place the fault and blame where it belongs. Blame the ones whose restraint could have prevented LITERALLY ALL the bloodshed. Glorify the ones who were able to REDUCE the violence in the world, not the ones who amplified it (even if they're hella sick nasty). That's the ONLY way things will end up better in the future.
