Modular homes are made to a much higher standard than true mobile homes that you typically find in a trailer park. But no, I was talking about the traditional mobile home you'd find in a trailer park. I'm moving out of this pest infested, slumlord controlled duplex house in this crime heavy neighborhood in one week. I'm moving into a lease to own mobile home in a very nice part of town. I remember living in a few of these growing up as a kid off an on, but haven't live in one since I was 13 (23 years ago) In the ones I lived in, early on when my parents were still together I remember it being very nice. Of course with my father being a carpenter/handyman he was always improving the places he lived in. The shell is much older than I am but they've went all out on this place renovating it. It's a 1970 New Moon. (Total price of trailer $13,000) 2bd/1bath It's natural gas and electric Electrical partially redone and inspected 2/18 Flooring redone 3/18 Roofing redone/resealed 3/18 New Furnace New Water Heater 2 New AC Units Home setters coming out tomorrow to level and tie down. 3/26/18 -Has hookups for wash/dryer Going to make the one bedroom my gaming room. faramir77 03/25/18 2:42:55 PM #7:	I'm torn between whether they are a responsible approach that grants suburban life without the sprawl, or if they are a cheap cop out provided by greedy banks that are funding their development that allows them to increase the cost of standard homes because they can been seen as a "luxury" alternative to the baseline mobile home. I suppose, in that thought, that apartments could be seen as even worse, but whatever.
