Yoshida ranks up every time regardless of how many points he has. So don't worry too much about him if you've been ranking him up so far.

Some of your Confidants do pass a point where you can no longer interact with them though, regardless of whether you've maxed them or not, so kinda be wary of that.

There's a point where you need to see a scene in school to advance. So if you haven't seen it before summer break you have to wait until school is back.
