they always show them open with their hands. but in real life you have to be super strong to do that. I always have had to use bottle openers or one time I was able to do it with a pair of scissors. they make bottles look simple to open but you would strain yourself or even cut up your skin trying to do that. I don't get it

Domestics have twist off caps. You don't need to be super strong to open them but if you don't grip tight enough, they can cut you.

I think I tried so called twist offs too one and cut myself. so I guess that's why I am confused. I just always use an opener no matter what. even if it says to twist off.

Lighters and butter knives are used by people all the time. I'm not a beer drinker so when I drink beer, I use a bottle opener (or a twist beer bottle).

First time I saw someone open one with a lighter or it might have been a butter knife I thought it was magic lol.
