It's weird how so many undesirable men become women now. Is their misery of "being in the wrong body" a leading cause, or is it simply a solution to another problem? It's got to be both, on a case-by-case basis, of course.

That's not how physics works. If theyre carrying hundreds of pounds of weight on the regular they're likely stronger than your average untrained male. they just don't know how to use their weight.

Hm, on paper it seems like things would be easier. I think my family would treat me better, and have more respect for the issues I'm dealing with. Also, I likely wouldn't be quite as pathetic, a shy girl is more interesting than a shy guy, plus I'd be asked out instead of having to do the asking. Heck, I might even have been married with kids by now if I were a woman.

Then again, there's more risk of awful things happening. I don't exactly trust my dad around young girls, I'm not going into details about that one, but he may actually have been a much worse father to a girl than he was to me. Also, the fear of rape, especially at the rest area job.

So, certain areas would improve while others get worse. I think it'd balance out to be the same difficulty, just for different reasons.

The only thing I can think of is that many of you are desperate for companionship and physical intimacy, which is probably easier to acquire, but it's also going to be from dudes.

Nah. If I were a woman, I'd be a lesbian. I know the gay community is getting more acceptance in recent years but that was NOT the case back when I was in school. Not that it would have stopped me from being open about it. I'd just would've had a lot more to deal with is all.

Pretty strange assumption on your part. It's a pretty easy observation to make. And I've been with my girl for a year now so that's not the case for me at least. But like someone else said, I also enjoy the challenges of being a man

Not really. The stats are telling enough. A pretty high percentage of women have been raped or sexually assaulted even in first world countries

There is pros and cons to both, is say it's probably better being a guy but its easier to be a girl

I only mentioned it because I think it's possible my dad might've tried something like that if I were a girl. Plus even as a man I've had a guy try to force himself on me... So yeah, I can only imagine how it feels to have that possibility looming in the back of your mind constantly.
