Guy she met and has been spending time with alone And she said she may flirt with him and stuff but she isnt sure if its too soon and if he will trust her as a gf. What should I even say? And if she later regrets dumping the ex because she gets used like tissue by the new guy, oh well. Learning experiences are part of dating. My friends paint themselves into corners all the time by hastily trading old partners for new ones they later regret. The "falls" are valuable lessons in teaching them better priorities. Stepping in to rescue or scold them doesn't teach them a damn thing. To me, being truly supportive of my friends is not interfering with them making their own relationship choices. After all, the typical break up is not a death sentence like bleeding hearts whine about.
