Yeah my former pair is always designated as my spare. I also have a pair of prescription sunglasses which is honestly kinda dumb considering I wear transition lenses

Technically, no. Functionally, yes.
Both my spare pair and my current pair I wear all the time are technically the wrong prescription, and I'm too cheap/lazy to get new glasses. But they're close enough to what my eyes currently are that I can wear them (the only downside is occasional eye-strain or a touch of motion sickness when playing certain video games under certain lighting conditions). I've always gone out of my way to have a spare pair of glasses ever since college, though, after an incident when my only pair broke and I basically had to drive 80 miles home while essentially legally blind to get a new pair. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ... Nope! If something happens to this pair I'm wearing right now, I am fucked! Which is one of many reasons why I need a new pair. I've had these since 2005 or so. I just hate going to the eye doctor. I wish I could skip all the preliminary crap and go straight to the "better or worse?" part.

There was a deal going on last time I needed new glasses for 2 pairs. (Because I did not have a spare for those, but surprisingly the 15 year old spare I had still worked fine).
