Technically, no. Functionally, yes.

Both my spare pair and my current pair I wear all the time are technically the wrong prescription, and I'm too cheap/lazy to get new glasses. But they're close enough to what my eyes currently are that I can wear them (the only downside is occasional eye-strain or a touch of motion sickness when playing certain video games under certain lighting conditions).

I've always gone out of my way to have a spare pair of glasses ever since college, though, after an incident when my only pair broke and I basically had to drive 80 miles home while essentially legally blind to get a new pair.
