Super Mario Odyssey wasn't willing to accept defeat that easily, and managed to pull within one vote on a few occasions. However, it wouldn't be enough to pull through, as Zelda: Breath of the Wild hangs on for a 21-18 final to become Board 8's 2017 Game of the Year!
