Honestly, you can't go wrong with latin american dubs, they try to keep everything as intact as possible, maybe in the early 90's they changed names around to spanish names like with detective conan, but eh, it wasn't terrible

At least they didn't make shit up or censor shit like most of the english dubs do...

And yeah i tried watching clear card in japanese and it was jarring as hell...

And yeah i tried watching clear card in japanese and it was jarring as hell...

Until we stopped importing directly from Japan and started translating the American translation. The quality went down when translating 4kids dubs, sadly.

There was a second English dub of CCS (done by Animax Asia, for airing in Asian countries with a high English-speaking population) that was completely uncut. That second dub is the one that Crunchyroll has available in its entirety. I also recently re-watched CCS using that new dub, and I loved it.

I'm also watching Clear Card dubbed since Funimation is simuldubbing it, but of course it's currently 2 episodes behind the Japanese airings.

If I could get into the production side of dubbing, I'd try to get the licenses for a lot of shows in Spanish. Unfortunately, I took a different career path, and I'm not sure how viable it is to dub anime in Spanish anymore.
