While yes, hatred or a general fear of transgendered people is deplorable, if you don't think that transsexuals who were born males have an inherent physical advantage over those born female, then you're just flat out wrong. The fear of a 160 lb female running back getting seriously injured from a 240 lb transgendered linebacker is quite legitimate and has nothing to do with bigotry or ignorance.

1. If you open the door to transgendered men, you close the door on women. Men have their own professional league. Women have their own. If you can't understand why they're seperate, then I'm not going to bother spending all night explaining it to you. If you can't understand that women are losing employment opportunities for the sake of including men in a women's football league, then I'm not going to spend all night explaining that either.

2. First, there's more than eleven players on a football team. NFL teams typically carry 53. Which I admit would seemingly strengthen your argument, but in actuality, it doesn't, because there's thousands of girls who try out every year that don't make it even despite the higher number of players. All your second point does, is illustrate that you know nothing about football. Which brings me to your third point...

So I have to admit when I play videogames sometimes I cheat. I take any advantage I can to win and I understand the desire of other people to go for any advantage no matter how small. But AFLW is not just a game its a lifelong career and any form of cheating shouldnt be ignored.

At the very least you have to consider how it looks. Imagine a little girl dreaming of getting into AFLW being told by her trainer that now with transgender people allowed in the league, at some point she might face opponents that she has no hope to physically overcome, or being overshadowed by teammates that perform better than her simply because they were born male. It wouldnt be unreasonable of her to choose something else instead something where she actually has a chance to be the best.

There are plenty of big cis women out there. I imagine a lot of them are playing heavy contact sports like football. Thats not a game you play if youre small in any circumstance. it sets a pretty shitty precedent since, as you said, he started out playing in other leagues. no doubt smaller, less reputable ones, which also set precedents to get him into a larger, more notable league.

She. She started in other leagues yes. She is not a man.

I agree that people that are larger have some advantages with some sports, but that's true regardless of gender or what gonads someone is born with. Women with high natural testosterone are going to have some advantages over other women. There's so much biological variation even for people that would be considered cis women that it's just not a concern that some of the few trans women that play sports may be in the same league.
