Uh yes they do? Im looking at my new box 7 right now and it only has pages, serpent jewel, void dust, evil bone, monuments/pieces, silver/gold exp, QP and friend points. There are no fangs or horse shoes after you clear the Lore box

You're on the wrong box set my dude. They have different reward sets. That's why I'm prioritizing the fakes because I want the evil bones

I haven't really done any big grinding during this event, just used up whatever stamina I've had

So assuming the following:

- I have no event CEs aside from Chaldea for schools, but have a healthy selection of friends with +2 LB CEs
- I don't think the Vitruvian Man currency is really worth it (only really care about warhorse horns cause I have very little, and even then not really because I am unlikely to need many)
- I do want the Self Portraits for claws and grease
- I do want a lot of Mona Lisas for a bunch of secret gems and the roots + tearstones

Is it more efficient to farm Nobu node (drops all 3) or Assassin + Caster node for the self portraits and Mona Lisas + Hearts.

Let's ignore clearing efficiency for now (though it's clearly Caster >> other two)

I think Assassin+Caster is better just for using appropriate Friend with LB CE. Saber is also better than Caster if all you're concerned about is ML drops, btw.

In case anybody doesnt know/hasnt noticed Koala has a MLB + Mona Lisa drop CE on his Santa Alter. Ive been using it for Caster runs

I'd rather do caster because those hearts seem worth it taking a hit. Also cause I clear caster super easy. Saber is one of the easier ones too though since I have Atalante and Orion.

Might transition over to Saber if I get enough Heart drops though. Do you know offhand on average how many Mona Lisas you're forfeiting with a +2 bonus running Caster over Saber?

I didnt realize since Koala is usually always the first or second Friend I see on my lists. Caster node is so easy you dont even really need any riders to beat it though.

Well the answer is "yes I did remove him from my list" or he removed me from his.

Max friends now-- if you want a lot of free summons feel free to readd me since I am summoning Drakes with MLB Mona Lisa drops pretty much exclusively but you know, whatever. I have other ones.

The story stages just made me sadder I couldnt pull Jeanne Alter. Emiya was solid in the story too. Aside from them I cant say I really cared about the rest. The copies were mostly boring, but served their purpose.

So whats the Boss Rush look like?

Boss rush isn't too bad, I'm clearing it fairly easily in between 10-13 turns depending on which final boss shows up. (Jalter takes much longer since your own Jalter can just instantly delete Jeanne if she shows up)

I'm glad it's as easy as it is because this is basically going to be all of my free time for the next few days "woo"

What sort of lineup do I want/need for the Boss Rush? I dont have a Waver or Jeanne Alter or anything. Ill probably want a Jeanne Alter friend at least, but I dunno who else to run other than Herc. I saw lancers, casters, riders and assassins as possible enemies, but most of my characters in those groups suck aside from my Sabers

Also does the F/Z event thing have any bonus Servants or CEs needed or anything?

Guess Ill be running Artoria and Lancelot with low level/ascension Kid Gil, Diarmuid and Alexander. Maybe use Hassan depending on enemies. Gilles so bad hes not going on the team

That Boss Rush wasnt too easy. I mean it wasnt super hard, but thanks to these stupid CE costs I cant run my best stuff. Ended up down to just Herc, Mary/Anne and Mash.

Costs in these events are actually fun IMO since it makes actually thinking about your team a bit more important. I've been doing fine with a hodge podge team including some good 5*s, but later tonight once the great success bonus goes live I'm going to level up Saint George and try for a George + Berserkers comp. If my theorycrafting is right I should actually be able to clear faster with that team. >_>

Yeah. Costs in the events are where my level 96 Kojirou truly shines. I like that you can't ever get enough cost to make it an irrelevant thing to keep track of.

I dunno who to use. I have 5 SoC CEs on and Mash because of her 0 cost. Herc is for damage and Artoria gets a damage buff from Friend Jeanne Alter. Mary/Anne was there for Casters, but didnt really get to do anything. My last was awful Jing who did nothing and died in 1 turn since she got focused

You don't necessarily have to use 5 SoCs.

Lancelot would be better than Franny and any strong AOE Saber can replace Altera

It gets me the most manuscripts though doesnt it? I dont have too many strong diverse Servants anyways. Aside from Herc theyre basically all Sabers for the most part >_>

More runs gets you more manuscripts, so if you get a lot higher clear speed with an alternate configuration that's the way you should be going since you're not spending all your apples regardless.

I've been running Cu/Jalter/Support Cu Alter/Caesar/Mash/Herc and doing pretty well unless too many stray crits happen. Jalter and Cu Alter burst through most enemies and can take town the boss fairly easy (super easy if normal Jeanne), Cu helps waste enemy turns and can be used to take out the AOE archer at the end if I'm having trouble taking down Jalter, and Herc is the emergency button at the end. Caesar could probably be anybody but it works.

lol holy crap I put together my Saint George team and the guy's actually a fucking incredible team player.

This team is actually way more consistent and even sometimes faster than the team I was running before that even had an extra 5* on it.

At least keep one so you can do his interludes and stuff for quartz and drops. It's not like rare prisms have much value anyway.

I was hoping to get down to 50 apples by the end of the event but my free time has been basically nonexistent lately, makes me so sad. Ah well, it'll be more than enough exp to raise up all the Zero event servants and a bunch more!

Yeah I'm not performing up to the standard I set for Santa.

Box 8 on True Box 10 on Fake (though I do have 1700 fake manuscripts to exchange so that's more like Box 13 on Fake)

To be fair part of it is I have no CE boosts and am running the Rider one for Monas for the Hearts so I'm still farming item drops.

Speaking of Hearts I could probably get Hercs 2 other skills to lv10 now. Well maybe if I have the QP anyways, but they dont seem like high priority upgrades anyways

I've gotten a ton of them. Mostly Supers, but yeah I can tell the difference.

Incidentally, a box here is only 60% of a Christmas box since they have 300 items instead of 500. Doubt I'll get the equivalent of what I got at Christmas, but we'll see.

Im not grinding too much partly because I am currently playing 3 mobile games and Overwatchs new event is out too. Just not enough time and its kinda hard to multi-task. I mean Ive had 2 mobile games up while also playing Overwatch and it just makes the mobile grinding slower obviously

I just got 5 Super Success in a row...why is my luck wasted on this
