King of Mercenaries has challenged Mercenaries 4 and Draftmercs to a fight, and then everybody kinda ignored it for a couple months! Location of the cluster****: Sanubia Desert - A blazing hot sun, no water in sight, and an endless sea of sand dunes define this battlefield. While the Al Bhed may call this place home, most would call it a death sentence. Attackers will start by the X-Potion chest (which is empty, as are all others), while defenders will start by the oasis. Which side will win?

Guidelines

- The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment.

- The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of a pre-selected plan of battle.

- "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, *not* Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion.

- There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from.

Rules for Voting

- Bold your votes (using bold HTML tags).

- You do not need to require justification for your vote, though the admins reserve the right to disqualify votes in the advent of obvious alt voting and other similar scenarios.

- Leaders cannot vote for their own teams, but they are free to argue their case.

- If you want to switch your votes simply bold the change; there's no need to delete your post, though you may if you wish.

- This match will end in 72 hours.

- Something probably got screwed up somewhere at some point so please watch for errata

Sorey is as he appears in Tales of Zestiria, with all orbs and talismans (though they buff only himself and his seraphim) and an endgame skill build. He enters the battle with 5 Blast Gauges and may armatize freely with his seraphim and <SUB LORD MERCS> (so...nobody?) during the course of the battle, but armatization cannot be used to revive anyone. He does not have access to Siegfried. He will join the battle as a third party in a neutral position from both teams. They will not attack Kefka, nor defend themselves from him, but will not obey his commands either. He will be devoid of emotion and personal memories, the crown cannot be removed nor worn by anyone else, and the ally will not break the slave crown's hold even if Kefka is defeated. He will obey Kefka's commands without question.

~VERSUS~

Kefka is as he appears in FF6A in the last battle, having access to all attacks and skills from the fight aside from Trine and Heartless Angel. He additionally has all his Brave and HP attacks from Dissidia: Final Fantasy, as well as the Exhilarating Magic skill. He has Mega Man style weapons based on Divine power attacks, Raziel's Soul Steal, and Aether.

Eddie is as he appears in the mainline Mega Man series. He is carrying one E-Tank, and will attempt to remain hidden until Kefka is low on health, at which point he will attempt to give him the E-Tank.

Dezel is as they appear in Tales of Zestiria, with an endgame skill build. They will enter battle with 5 Blast Gauges, and will be permanently invisible and inaudible to Sorey, Kefka, Morrigan, Terra, and Rikku.

Morrigan is as seen in Dragon Age: Origins and Inquisition (though she has not drank from the Well of Sorrows), with typical endgame equipment and 3 Lyrium Potions. She has mastered the first three spells of the Lightning, Cold, Shapeshifter spell trees, all of the Enhancements, Hexes, Summoning, spell trees, and Mind Blast.

~VERSUS~

Zero is as he appears in the Mega Man Zero series, in his Defense Form as seen in Zero 2. He has his Saber, Buster, Shield Boomerang, and Chain Rod, as well as the EX skills from Mega Man Zero 2. He has the elemental chips and the only effects from Cyber Elves he has are those from Grandie, Atti, Jettah, and Fubuffa, (double life, running speed, climbing speed, no backlash recoil). He will appear 15 seconds late. Zero's Theme (from MMX) will also begin playing throughout the terrain as soon as he enters the battle.

Terra is as she appears in Dissidia, in her base form. She is equipped with full Genji armour, Apocalypse, a Hero Ring, and a Gold Hairpin. She has all her natural magic, as well as those gained from Unicorn and Bahamut, save for Arise, Teleport, Break, Graviga, Meltdown. She has Raise, Ultima, and Flood. Terra may turn into her Esper form for up to 60 seconds at any point of the match. Otherwise it functions exactly as it does in the game.

Bass.EXE is as he appears in the Megaman Battle Network series, with access to all the moves and properties of his Omega, XX, and BX forms (including Bass Omega GS, and both Gregar and Falzar), though if any of his barriers/auras is destroyed, he loses access to all of them for the rest of the fight. He can operate here same as he does on the Net. [He has also inhaled Lilith from Borderlands 2, gaining a set of moves fitting her. Whenever Bass.EXE receives a buff any parameters of it (i. e. duration, potency) are doubled.] [He has a loadout of Samus Aran's equipment from Metroid Prime 3, giving him Nova Beam, Corruption Mode, Upgraded Grapple, X-Ray Visor, and Command Visor w/Gunship.] He is as seen during the Metal Gear REX boss fight in Metal Gear Solid (Cockpit closed phase). He will walk REX in from the nearest convenient location on his team's side. He may not leave REX and if it goes down, it can be assumed Liquid has gone down with it.

Kirby is as seen in the Kirby Super Star and Smash series. He has full use of his Smash Brothers Moveset along with the moves from his ____ forms. (He has also inhaled MERCENARIES, gaining a set of moves fitting each). He cannot inhale enemy fighters nor create helpers from his abilities during the match, but can inhale anything else and will not lose access to his forms due to taking damage. [He is piloting Metal Gear REX as seen in the boss fight in Metal Gear Solid (Cockpit closed phase). He will walk Metal Gear REX in from the nearest convenient location on his team's side. He may not leave REX and if it goes down, it can be assumed Kirby has gone down with it. ] [Thanks to the Triforce of Courage, his parameters have been increased by 50%/doubled].

Rikku is as she appears in Final Fantasy X, equipped with Godhand and a Tercio without SOS Reflect. She has access to her own sphere grid. She has brought 5 each of ITEMS to battle and can use any combination of them with Use or her Mix Overdrive, provided sufficient Overdrive has been built. She is as seen during the Metal Gear REX boss fight in Metal Gear Solid (Cockpit closed phase). She will walk REX in from the nearest convenient location on his team's side. She may not leave REX and if it goes down, it can be assumed Rikku has gone down with it.

Bass.EXE Jr. has been created as Kirby's helper. Similar in appearance to a Kirbyed version of Bass.EXE, it has roughly the same size and durability of Kirby, but it has proficiency with all of BASS.EXE's attacks. However, it does not have BASS.EXE's memories, tactics, or personality, preferring to attack in a reckless, erratic, and borderline suicidal fashion. He has access to Samus' gunship

'Ultima gets through defenses' is a start. All the parameters in the world don't matter when you're just kirby tanky, or rikku tanky against a god of magic. More than that though - the terrain is incredibly astonishingly favorable to Kefka. It's an open air arena where he can fly freely against the REXES, which are not tremendously suited to deal with air attacks - especially not with Wind Sorey hitting them from below. He's very zippy and teleporty, so the slow, cumbersome REXes are gonna have lots of trouble dealing with him. Add double speed Zero to the mix and this match is pretty iffy for the REXes tbqh. The main question is which of Kefka or Zero emerges the victor here.

EDIT: I did, just looked at the other topic. So Kirby is trying to pilot a rex while his tummy is hurting. That's just about the worst possible debuff you can hit him with and Rikku won't fair much better.

3 REXes + the Gunship should win. All 3 REXes are driven by capable drivers. I don't know if Bass.EXE Jr can really pilot a gunship in an intelligent way but he can probably kamikaze it into one of the enemy teams at the worst with his borderline suicidal tactics.

Wide open terrain with limited cover should favor the REXes with their superior range and durability.
