You do get good skills and they can help with a resume. But a lot of them haven't really had any real world expierence. And being in the military is like being a kid all over again. They treat the members like children. It's hard for a lot of them once they get out. And you can still get a degree and all that. If you write your resum correctly it is. Veterans have lots of resources to find work. I literally got hired because of a resume that I had done through one of those resources and rephrasing my military experience into shit that was applicable. Babysitting grown men to make sure they go to their dental/medical appointments = experience micromanaging personnel to ensure operations readiness --- "I properly understand when a woman wants my dick and I can do whatever I want to them, and then do it."
