Maybe they should have more attractive qualities to employers. Isn't serving played up as a way to build strong skills you can take into the civilian market for a quality white-collar career? You do get good skills and they can help with a resume. But a lot of them haven't really had any real world expierence. And being in the military is like being a kid all over again. They treat the members like children. It's hard for a lot of them once they get out. And you can still get a degree and all that.
