This game is gorgeous.

Getting used to the new controls. Trying to get a feel for them instead of reverting to the classic setup, but Im glad the option is there because I played the hell out of this game on PS2 (never finished the PS3 remaster, though)

This is looking to be the best remake of a game Ive ever played, but that just might be the honeymoon phase talking. Well see how I feel about it once Ive beat it a couple times.

Yeah that framerate on the Pro is silky smooth, but Im not ready to drop $400 on a new console just yet. Maybe if my PS4 shits the bed.

I'm fine with stable 30fps. This isn't a game that requires a high fps. This is the first game that I've preordered on Amazon so I'm pretty excited to have it when I get off work.

Yeah its available on the normal PS4 :)

Has a near-stable 60fps on Pro, and you can choose resolution over FPS if thats your thing, but if you dont have the Pro you can still play it.

I have a hard time recommending it at full price, only because it can be divisive. Its very design can be a huge turnoff.

When you boil it down, its a boss rush game. There are no enemies to speak of outside of the colossi. Some people find the massive empty spaces to be boring. There is incentive to explore, however. Without getting too spoilery, you can increase your stamina and health through exploration. But outside of that, theres not much to do unless you find enjoyment in simply exploring and experimenting.

Its a gorgeous game. Well-made. The original PS2 versions controls and camera were finicky, but thats been smoothed out in the remake (still not perfect, though). The story is minimal, but impactful. Im obviously of the ilk who enjoy it immensely, but that the same time I can see why some people would not enjoy it, so Id advise waiting for a sale if youre on the fence.
