This article, by 500 female scientists, lambasts Bill for the crime of associating with a Republican. Worse, a Republican who was nominated by Trump.

This horde of women scientists make some really worrying proclimations, like how space exploration comes secondary to posturing against someone who wants to reform immigration law. I have a feeling these female "scientists" are largely in the social sciences...

It's really quite amazing how Bill Nye, a guy who had done everything in his power to make neo-progressive gender politics appear scientifically valid (with marginal results), is now being eaten alive for some minor slight against nobody other than 500 pink-haired cat ladies who just want to use his popularity as a tool to advance their agendas. And that's more than evident, else they would care much more about Bill's efforts to promote NASA than who he associates with.

I still don't understand the current hate for Bill Nye and his new show. Everyone said it sucked and was terrible, so I didn't even try it. And then I watched a couple episodes, and look! All he did was tell people the truth about stuff. "Waaahh, wahhh, he made an episode about sexual identities! Librulz! Cucks! Snowflakes! Wahhhhh!!" I watched the first two episodes and he didn't ever really say anything that was wrong. The only stupid thing is his 'expert' panel on the 2nd episode had a terrible idiot guy they brought on as a strawman who supported crystals and shit.

But the thing is terrible idiots who believe in the healing power of magnets and crystals exist in real life. Soooo who cares?

And even though he isn't a complete 'scientist' don't be mean to engineers they are still smart enough to know that climate change is real.

Do you have major difficulties reading or comprehending information? Where did I say I agreed with their point of view. I said I understood their complaints but I aided with Bill. In fact I said it multiple times in this thread.

Moreover, yes accompying someone can seem as an endorsement or that you are ok with them. If I was an athlete I would refuse to visit the White House if given the chance.
