My cat is acting very spoiled and will only eat wet food if no one else feeds him dry food. He avoids pates like the plague. Just curious what brand and type of food you all feed your cat(s)

my cat's the opposite, he doesn't really like wet food that much. if I give it to him, he just mostly licks at it until he gets all the juice then leaves the rest of it to dry out and I have to throw it away. I give him dry food that is special to prevent urine crystals cause he had a scare about that once.

Dry food. Every other day, a can of wet canned food.

Once a year, usually on on New Years Eve, I'll make homemade wet food as demonstrated by

That's pretty cool. But I think he should have put it up against other wet food. Or have a turntable of multiple things...

Nature's Variety Instinct dry food. High protein, corn free, no creepy ingredients like "animal byproduct".

But for treats once every week or two, they just get Friskies canned food. Junk food for cats.

Dry food only. The cat starts vomiting on a regular basis if we feed her wet food. She loves the wet stuff, but it makes her sick every time. About the only thing that we can feed her other than wet food is unseasoned chicken.

I watched a Cat Mojo episode from Jackson an expert said that you should be feeding your cat raw meat as that it was they were built to eat, not dry.

I think it was this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2biwZd0spyg

But I still feed mine dry and wet.

Wait is friskies canned food really considered "junk?" I heard it has filler but I wasn't aware that it's bad

It's definitely junk to people who really value good ingredients in their cat's food. It has things like "meat byproduct" in it, which can be... Anything. There have been controversies about ingredients like that being euthanized pets. I really shouldn't feed it to my cats at all.
