I've never really followed channels which were big on time-wasting formulas and introductions. Granted, I suspect that at least YTers start with an introduction solely to prevent somebody from copying their entire video and re-uploading it onto a new channel.

Even worse are recipe sites. Fucking novels about rugging it as a stay at home mom taking care of the kids with the live in nanny then you get to the recipe and it lists 2 steps and the rest is hidden under an expand for more tab.
