My favourite part about these "old school" Raw shows is the videos and social media posts by current talent talking about how excited they are to be around some of the legends of the business, while you know that deep down inside all they're thinking is "please don't let them bury me"

Sometimes it's not that you can't teach a thing, it's that you can't teach a person.

There was a larger lesson to the character of Enzo, in hindsight.

People booked earlier in the show have always made it into the Rumble, and Braun would be the exact sort of guy that would walk out of one match and right into the next one.

Reigns lost to Owens at last year's Rumble ppv, only to show up #30 in the Rumble itself hardly selling any of the offense that Owens and Braun did to him earlier.

Gulak would be super over with the smart Philly crowd actually. He's already the only Cruiserweight to (usually) get chants outside of a Tozawa specifically for his character. But I think people love Braun shenanigans that even if they go nuts for Gulak, they'd still cheer murdering Gulak during his PowerPoints.

Braun could flatten AJ Styles at this point and probably be cheered.

Unless the Royal Rumble does NOT main event the ppv (which it probably will), Cena will finally have the new record for most ppv main events in WWE history; he's currently tied with Undertaker for the top spot. His appearance in the Royal Rumble will be his 70th ppv main event.
